I am a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice since 2003.

I am now doing consultation work with individuals and groups.

I graduated from Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2000 with a Ph.D in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Depth Psychology.

From 2000-2017 I was a faculty member at Pacifica Graduate Institute which included being the director of Pacifica's Ph.D. Clinical Training program.

I taught courses in the Clinical, Depth, Somatic, Community Liberation and Ecopsychology programs. Those courses included Jungian Psychotherapy, Imaginal and Archetypal Psychotherapy, Imaginal Ways of Knowing in both Psychotherapy and Research and I taught Dissertation Development courses in all of the programs at Pacifica at that time.

I have had the pleasure of assisting many students at Pacifica complete their concept papers for research and have served on many doctoral dissertation committees.

I completed my internship and post-doctoral training at the C.G. Jung Institute in Los Angeles, Ca. with Jungian Analysts as mentors and supervisors to guide my training and support my work: Marvin Spiegelman, Steven Frank, Rose Emily Rothenberg, and Connie Crosby.

Two other internships: I worked with children and adolescents in a private practice in Los Angeles and I helped create a research study with City Hearts, a non-profit organization that helps Youth at Risk by offering acting as a way to heal, process and transform traumas these youth have experienced.

I am certified with The Academy for Guided Imagery to use Interactive Guided Imagery Techniques.

I am also a licensed massage therapist and spent many years studying various bodywork techniques and eventually developed my own somatic approach and healing style of listening to the body: either touching it gently or viewing it at a distance while in a meditative state and then sending pure light into the body where it is open to and requesting healing. I also developed a technique in which, in a meditative state, I am able to view energetic blockages on subtle levels of the body and then, with the help of enlightened dieties (with whom I am blessed to work with on the etheric planes), employ energy techniques to clear and free the body from accumulated energetic projections.

I have over 40 years of experience in Meditation studying and practicing with spiritual masters in various traditions. I am a long time student of the Tibetan Bon Tradition with my primary teacher being Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche. I studied  the Chinese Taoist Tradition for 30 years with Dr.Baolin Wu (including advanced training in Qi Gong) and have studied Indian Naada Yoga with Shyamji Bhatnagar since 1980. I was initiated into TM (Transcendental Meditation) in 1974, and studied Hatha Yoga with Sri Swami Satchidananda.

I have advanced training with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies in Soul Retrieval, Death and Dying, and Shamanic Counseling. During my training I experienced the greatest teaching of my life: a profound and life altering Shamanic Initiation which became the focus of my Dissertation: Shamanic Initiation: Map of the Soul  Please see my dissertation abstract

and here is the entire published work: Shamanic Initiation: Map of the Soul  The Actor-Healer Archetype Revealed

In 1976 I received an M.F.A. in Theater and Performing Arts from Catholic University, Washington, D.C. I was a professional actress for many years performing leading roles on Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regional Theater, Television and Film. IMBD Lisa Sloan

The integration of the Actor, the Healer, and the Depth Psychologist culminated in my founding The Center for Oracular Studies and becoming Artistic Director of Oracular Theater which hosts the performance Piece: Journey to the Oracle: Awakening Mary.

This piece, under special contract agreement with Actors Equity Association, has been performed in Los Angeles and has, as a larger vision, individual and world peace, traveling to sacred sites around the world to teach about the relevance of the Oracle in these modern times and to Awaken Mary's Presence, Love and Healing to the World through the ancient sacred ritual of visiting the Oracle.

In 1987 I received a vision from Mary, asking me to share her evolving purpose. Over many years, I developed a fluency as her Oracle, communicating via an Oracular consciousness in order to share her messages as they came to and through me.

Here are some examples. Each publication includes the history of the work with Mary in it's introduction:

Awakening to Who You Are

Transforming Suffering

Heal the World Heal Ourselves

And finally, a nice acknowledgement and memory:
I was nominated to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, in 1974, having graduated with a B.A. from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia that same year.  I was listed in Outstanding Young Women of America in 1982.

I am grateful for my full and prosperous and rather daring life which has touched the boundaries of existence, supported others in their healing journey, and ultimately been in service to my Soul.
